Sudhagad- also know as Bhorapgad is a hill fort situated east of Pali in Raigad District.

The fort was named Bhorapgad after the Goddess Bhoraidevi. The origin of the fort traces back to 2nd century BC. It was named Sudhagad after the Marathas conquered it from the Bhamani dynasty in 1657. Shivaji Maharaj considered it to be the capital of the Maratha empire but later decided to choose Raigad over Sudhagad due to its central location.

The fort have ruins of two temples dedicated to Shiva. However, the temple of Bhoraidevi (its patron goddess) is well maintained. On the plateau there are two lakes, a big granary, a shrine (Vrindavan) and numerous other ruins scattered around the fort area, “Pant Sachivancha Vada” is also in well maintained state. There are three main gates the largest of which is called the Maha Darwaja.
From the top, other forts like Sarasgad, Korigad, Ghanagad, Taila-Baila are clearly visible.
