Event Details

Anjaneri fort- It is said to be the birth place of Hanuman, and is named after Hanuman's mother, Anjani. This is the only place where you can find the temple of Anjani Mata. Arround 108 Jain caves are found here belonging to 12th century. The area around Anjaneri was once ruled by Veersen Ahir. Two pinnacles called ‘Navara’ and ‘Navari’ can be seen from Anjaneri village.

Itinerary

Day 0 Friday 12 Jul'19
  • Board last Kasara local train starting CSMT @ 12:15 hrs
         (12:33 hr Dadar, 12:43 hr Kurla, 01:09 hr Thane, 01:43 hr Kalyan, 03:00 hr Kasara)

Day 1 Saturday 13 Jul'19
  • Move towards Anjaneri base village by private jeep
  • Breakfast & Round of introduction
  • Start trek by 8:00 am
  • Reach top by 10:00 pm. Explore fort followed by Lunch
  • Start descending by 01:00 pm
  • Reach base village and start return journey to Kasara.
  • Reach Mumbai by 08.00 pm (Tentatively)

Event cost Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. One thousand only ) per person

  • Consumption of alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics is strictly banned on the event & should lead to expulsion from the trek
  • The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No arguments will be entertained
  • Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety and baggage
  • Avoid medication such as sleeping tablets, sedatives, strong painkillers, and anti-histamines Which depress the respiration and increase the risk of AMS- (Acute Mountain Sickness) especially while sleeping
  • Please do not wear any jewellery or gold chains/rings
  • Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “Wherever you go, leave only your footprints and take back only memories.”
