Hampta Pass- The unforgettable high moderate Himalyan adventure Hampta Pass Trek is based in the region of beautiful Himanchal (Manali) at an altitude of 14100 ft. high. Hampta pass trekking can be done in any season, but the best time to go for trek is in the month of Jun to August. Hampta Pass trekking gives an amazing experience of exploring your life with special hues of nature. One gets an incredible view of rock faces, frosty valleys, thick pine forest, open meadows, adrenaline pumping waterway and pleasant as well as adventurous crossing areas.

Hampta pass connects two beautiful valleys named; Kullu and Lahaul, were one get various Landscapes. Colorful Himalayan birds, species and flowers attract the viewers by their beauty. The scenic landscape, frequent change in weather and atmosphere delights the trekkers and gives a good option of clicking pictures. Climbing on the snow stretch and finding peace with nature with the surroundings of Himalaya is vast.

Itinerary
Day 1: 23 June- Reporting at Manali base camp (Shikharpar Hotel/ Home stay)
 
  • Drive from Manali bus stand to Shikharpar
  • Room Allotment and Freshen up
  • Lunch and Rest
  • Acclimatization trek to “Jogini Water Fall”
  • Introduction – Mountain Do’s and Don’t
  • High tea/ soup
  • Dinner

Day 2: 
24 June- Camp 1- Shikharpar to Chika (drive and trek  till camp site) 

  • B’fast by 7:00 am and then drive till Chika.
  • Packed lunch for the day
  • Evening free for photography & sightseeing
  • High tea/ soup
  • Dinner
  • Stay in tent at Chika camp

Chika is situated 10,250 feet about the sea level. Visit hot spring and Vashisht temple on the way. Enjoy beautiful trail through few villages and after crossing Aleo-nallah, you will reach beautiful meadow with a flat terrain, and after that our destination for the day -Chikka.
 
Day 3: 
25 JuneCamp 2- Chika to Bhaluka Ghera
 
  • B’fast by 7:00 am and then trek to Bhaluka Ghera
  • Lunch on the way
  • Evening free for photography & sightseeing
  • High tea/ soup
  • Dinner
  • Stay in tent at base of Bhaluka Ghera

Bhaluka Ghera, is famous for brown bears and hence the name of this place stands on them. During winters, all the brown bears come over here and hibernate. Throughout the trail many different varieties of flowers can be seen.

Day 4: 
26 June- Camp 3- Bhaluka Gera to Siagoru, Cross Hampta Pass
 
  • B’fast by 7:00 am and then trek to Hampta Pass

  • Dinner
  • Stay in tent at Siagoru

Trekking through Hampta pass just drives you crazy as it is one of the most fabulous experiences you can have. It is a perfect location to capture scenic beauty. Crossing Hampta pass will be a little tiresome as the route is steep and altitude is moderate. As you complete the climb, it will follow a huge descent which will lead us to our camp @ Siagoru situated 13,000 feet above the sea level.

Day 5: 
27 June-  Camp 4- Siagoru to Chatru. Drive to Chandratal camp site
 
  • B’fast by 7:00 am and then trek to Chatru
  • Lunch on the way
  • Drive to Chandratal camp site
  • Evening free for photography & sightseeing
  • High tea/ soup
  • Dinner
  • Stay in tent at Chandratal camp site

Today’s 1st half of the trek will be very easy as it will be full descend and the rest of the trek will be very tiring as we traverse very steep altitude. After descending you will see the large valley of river Chandra. Chandra River is at 11000 feet above the sea level and is located on the highway of Manali and Kaza. On one side of the river you can view the mountains full of snow and the other side you will view barren mountains. 

Day 6: 28 JuneChandratal to Manali

  • B’fast by 7:00 am and then drive to Chandratal Lake
  • Lunch on the way
  • Report to base camp
  • Evening free for shopping at Mall road
  • Grand Camp Fire and Bada Khana
  • Stay at Shikharpar

Chandratal is a moon shaped lake which has crystal clear water. The sight from the mountains of Chandra Tal is an awesome experience.

Day 7: 29 June- Trek ends with sweet memories
 
Post B’fast we will have a feedback Session and Vote of Thanks
participants will depart for Manali with sweet memories and lovely trekking experience

The above plan is based on an “Ideal” scenario where everything goes per plan & considering that there is no breakdown. It is subject to change in Real Time based on ground realities.

  • Any additional Expenses caused by reason beyond our control such as Natural Calamities (Land Slides, Floods etc.), any accidents, medical evacuations, riots, strikes, evacuation costs, Etc.
  • Any tips, and any meals apart from the ones mentioned above. 
  • Any other tax or service charge stay charge that could be enforced during this period will be Extra and need to be borne by participant.
  • Any service not specifically mentioned in the Includes sections.

Insurance:
All travelers are advised to purchase travel insurance that provide care and services for sickness, Accidents, emergency rescue, ted. Related to international travel.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations prior to 90 days from the start of the trek — full refund
Cancellation between 89 days and 40 days to the start of the trek — 50% refund
Cancellation less than 39 days to the start of the trek — no refund.

If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rains, earthquake, landslides, strike/bandh etc.), Nisarga Bhraman will not be responsible and will not give any refund.

Drop out during trek: If for some reason a participant has to drop out from the trek on any day then Nisarga Bhraman, will make arrangements for his/her return up-to base camp. The stay cost at has to be borne by the participant.

Rules & Regulations
  • Consumption of alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics is strictly banned on the event & should lead to expulsion from the trek
  • The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No arguments will be entertained
  • Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety and baggage
  • Avoid medication such as sleeping tablets, sedatives, strong painkillers, and anti-histamines Which depress the respiration and increase the risk of AMS- (Acute Mountain Sickness) especially while sleeping
  • Please do not wear any jewellery or gold chains/rings
  • Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “Wherever you go, leave only your footprints and take back only memories.”
