Lambhari Trek-
A moderate trek for enthusiastic trekkers through beautiful mountain scenery. An ideal place for nature lover to have their camping and trekking experience and spot lots of birds. It is on the outskirts of the “Great Himalayan National Park” in Kullu Dist and provides the best view of the Park.

The pleasant walk leads through thick pine and Deodar forest to villages with panoramic views of the surrounding snow mountains and the entire Kullu valley. Walking along the ridge on meadows, we will pass various temples, and the holy Saryolsar lake covering a variety of landscapes. We walk through open meadows and stands of Himalayan oak. Along the way, we pass ancient shrines of Hindu deities, and there are magnificent views of the surrounding hills and snow capped peaks of the Great Himalayas. From the top you can see the whole Himalayan ranges from the Dhauladhar range to stunning Kinnaur range. The biodiversity of Lambhari is exceptional.


Day 1- 12 May
Reporting at Sajwar base camp (Aprox. 9,500 ft)

Meeting at Aut and transfer to camp site at Sajwar by private transport.

Camp site located in Sajwar village in beautiful Tirthan Valley. This magnificent valley is the capital of Trout Fish and is surrounded by high mountains and two reserve forests The Jaloda forest and Kansar forest. The day is reserved for the acclimatisation. You will have leisure time till lunch and post lunch we will move for a small trek in Jalorda forest for acclimatisation. You will be brief about the trek and route.
Day 2- 13 May
Base camp to Saryolsar lake (Aprox. 10,500 ft & ~5 hrs trek)

After breakfast we will proceed for Saryolsar lake. The route goes through the dense forest along with a beautiful shinning water stream coming from high Mountains to the camp site.
You will come across some natural stone caves on the route, locally they are called as Dwar.

The Saryolsar lake is a holly lake surrounded by hills & high pine trees, the spreading of lake is as wide as a football ground. On the bank of the lake there is a temple of Goddess 'Budhi Nagin' Mata who is the mother of 60 Nag Devatas in Himachal Pradesh.

Day 3- 14 May
Saryolsar lake to Lakkad nala (Approx. 10.400 feet & ~ 5 hrs trek)
Post breakfast, we will proceed for Lakkad Nala. The route is a gradual hike till Lakkad nala and is full of breath-taking scenery sometimes you may experience dense fog on the way. The camp site is on the top most place of Lakkad nala, from where you can see Kinnaur mountain range and Shimla range & other views of valley. Camp site is frequently visited by Himalayan thar, crow, vulture and other verities for birds.

Day 4- 15 May
Lakkad Nala to Lambhari to Zhanj Nala (Approx. 10,800 feet ~ 6 hrs trek)
After breakfast we will proceed for Zhanj Nala via Lambhari. The route to Lambhari top (~10,826 feet) is a bit steep and passes through many green fields, snow patches with some rare and unique flowers on the way. Descend to Zhani nala is easy and passes through tree lines lush green meadows strewed with small rocks. We will also visit Jogni mata temple on the way.
Day 5- 16 May
Zhanj nala to Sajwar basecamp (Approx. 9,500 feet ~ 4 hrs)
The route to base camp Sajwar from Zharni is complete descend. Descending over snow and muddy patches will add fun to the trek. Lastly, we will pass through apple orchards, farms, and villages.
Day 6- 17 May
Trek ends with sweet memories 
After breakfast participants will depart for Aut with sweet memories and lovely trekking experience. 

The above plan is based on an “Ideal” scenario where everything goes per plan & considering that there is no breakdown. It is subject to change in Real Time based on ground realities.

  • Any other tax or service charge stay charge that could be enforced during this period will be Extra and need to be borne by participant.

All travelers are advised to purchase travel insurance that provide care and services for sickness, Accidents, emergency rescue, ted. Related to international travel.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations prior to 90 days from the start of the trek — full refund
Cancellation between 89 days and 40 days to the start of the trek — 50% refund
Cancellation less than 39 days to the start of the trek — no refund.

If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rains, earthquake, landslides, strike/bandh etc.), Nisarga Bhraman will not be responsible and will not give any refund.

Drop out during trek: If for some reason a participant has to drop out from the trek on any day then Nisarga Bhraman, will make arrangements for his/her return up-to base camp. The stay cost at has to be borne by the participant.

Rules & Regulations

  • Consumption of alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics is strictly banned on the event & should lead to expulsion from the trek
  • The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No arguments will be entertained
  • Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety and baggage
  • Avoid medication such as sleeping tablets, sedatives, strong painkillers, and anti-histamines Which depress the respiration and increase the risk of AMS- (Acute Mountain Sickness) especially while sleeping
  • Please do not wear any jewellery or gold chains/rings
  • Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “Wherever you go, leave only your footprints and take back only memories.”
Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen despite taking utmost caution and care. The organization will not be responsible for any injury / accident / death to the participant while on trek.
Medical Disclaimer:
It is Important to be physically fit while on treks. If suffering from any allergy or ailment, please bring prescribed medicines to prevent serious health problem including heatstroke, severe headache, cough, dehydration and hypothermia. Participants suffering from chronic conditions like asthma bronchitis, blood pressure, migraine, diabetes etc. should take permission from their physicians before treks.
