Event Details
Patalsu Peak - The Patalsu Peak is ~ 4,200 mtrs tall near Manali and it offers the most scenic views of the mountains. This beautiful trek starts from Rumsu, passing through Solang valley and finally to Patalsu peak. 
The trek pushes you via some steep inclines, narrow ridges, and moraines. It offers panoramic views of the entire valley and Hanuman Tibba, Friendship Peak, and Manali Peak. From the summit you can see expansive Himalayan grandeur, with giants like Friendship height, Manali peaks, and Shitidhar.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Manali. (Stay in Hotel / Homestay).
  • Hotel / Homestay checkin 
  • Small trek to Jogini waterfall and Orientation 
Day 2: Manali to Bakarthach (Stay in camp)
  • Good morning by 6 am. Breakfast and get ready by 8 am
  • Drive to Dhundi Via Solang valley and trek to Bakarthach.
Day 3: Bakarthach to Beas Kund and back (5 – 6 hrs trek) (Stay in camp)
  • Good morning by 6 am. Breakfast and get ready by 8 am.
  • Trek to Beas Kund with packed lunch
  • Explore and return to bakarthach in the evening.
Day 4:  Bakarthach to Solang Valley to Patalsu Base camp (Stay in camp)
  • Good morning by 6 am. Breakfast and get ready by 8 am
  • Downhill trek to Dhundi and then drive to Solang Valley. 
  • Trek to Patalsu base camp (3 hrs trek)
Day 5: Patalsu Peak summit (Stay in camp)
  • Good morning by 6 am. Breakfast and get ready by 8 am
  • Trek to Patalsu peak summit (6 – 8 hrs trek) with packed lunch.
  • Explore and return to base camp by evening.
Day 6: Departure Day
  • Good morning by 6 am. Breakfast and get ready by 8 am
  • Downhill trek to Solang Valley and then drive to Manali.
  • Drop by 3 pm.

Note:
The above plan is based on an “Ideal” scenario where everything goes per plan & considering that there is no breakdown. It is subject to change in Real Time based on ground realities.

  • Any additional Expenses caused by reason beyond our control -Natural calamities such as Land Slides, Floods etc., any accidents, medical evacuations, riots, strikes, evacuation costs Etc.
  • Any other tax or service charge, stay charge that could be enforced during this period will be Extra and need to be borne by participant.
  • Any service not specifically mentioned in the Includes sections.

Insurance-
All travelers are advised to purchase travel insurance that provide care and services for sickness, Accidents, emergency rescue, ted. Related to international travel. "Nisarga Bhraman and Organizer" shall not be responsible for the loss of personal assets and belongings of the travelers due to unavoidable reason or mishap.

Cancellations policy:

If for some reason you wish to cancel your trek, an email intimation needs to be sent to nisargabhraman@gmail.com

The cancellation charges are as under:

  • Cancellations prior to 90 days from the start of the trek full refund.
  • Cancellation between 89 days and 40 days to the start of the trek 50% refund.
  • Cancellation less than 39 days to the start of the trek no refund.

Note: 

  • If a trek is called off at the last moment due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like Political unrest/ rains/ earthquake/ landslides etc), "Nisarga Bhraman" is not liable to refund the event cost.
  • Drop out during trek: If for some reason a participant has to drop out from the trek on any day then Nisarga Bhraman will make arrangements for his/her return up to Manali a staff will accompany the participant. Manali transportation and stay cost at any location will be borne by the participant.

Rules & Regulations
  • Consumption of alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics is strictly banned on the event & should lead to expulsion from the trek.
  • The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No arguments will be entertained.
  • Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety and baggage.
  • Please do not wear any jewelry or gold chains/rings.
  • Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “Wherever you go, leave only your footprints and take back only memories.”

Disclaimer:

Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution and care. The organization will not be responsible for any injury / accident / death to the participant while on trek.

Medical Disclaimer:

It is Important to be physically fit while on treks. If suffering from any allergy or ailment, please bring prescribed medicines to prevent serious health problem including heatstroke, sever headache, cough, dehydration and hypothermia. Participants suffering from chronic conditions like asthma bronchitis, blood pressure, migraine, diabetes etc should take permission from their physicians before treks.

Nisarga Bhraman group always aim for responsible and sustainable tourism, and as a team we also believe your participation and cooperation in achieving our goal, since you will be trekking in an eco-friendly zone with varieties of flora and fauna, make sure that you do not litter this environment which are home for many endangered species and also make sure to bring back the waste produced during the trek for proper disposal.
  • Educate yourself about the environment, ecology, customs and traditions of the region.. 
  • Minimize your carbon footprint by avoiding and not using plastics of any kind.
  • Keep all pollutants away from the river, streams and other water sources.
  • Do not urinate or defecate near water sources or camping ground.
  • Respect religious and historical sites, keeping in view the sanctity, abide by the guidelines and follow the instruction set by the local authorities.
  • Do not interfere, interrupt or disturb the locals you encounter during the trek, respect the privacy of the host; always seek permission before taking their pictures.
  • Do not carry any sort of drugs or alcohol, refrain from these activities.
  • Take happy memories and leave nothing but your footprints.
