Celebration of Sri Krishna Janmashtami in Mathura & Vrindavan -

Sri Krishna- About 5000 years ago, the eighth reincarnation of Lord Vishnu was born, who soon came to be revered as one of the most important Hindu gods. Quick-witted and jovial in nature, this notorious divinity became a favorite among devotees who fondly worship him both in his adult and childhood form. His birthday known to be celebrated every year all over India as Krishna Janmashtami.

However, there are two places in India, where this festival is celebrated with unmatched zeal and grandeur. They are Mathura and Vrindavan; the former being the birthplace of Lord Krishna while the latter being the place, he spent his childhood years.

This year we Nisarga Bhraman team have planned to witness this holly celebration at Mathura & Vrindavan, and we welcome you all to join us and be a part of this beautiful festival.

Itinerary

Day 0- Wednesday 17 Aug'22

Board any of the below mentioned train to Mathura

MMCT NZM AK RAJ (12953) starting from Mumbai central at 17.10 hrs
PASCHIM EXPRESS (12925) starting from Bandra terminus at 11.30 hrs

Day 1- Thursday 18 Aug'22

Reach Mathura by 8.00 hrs
Move to Vishram Ghat and check in hotel/ home stay
Fresh up/ B'fast and get ready to visit temples in Mathura the birthplace of Lord Krishna

Highlight- Vishram Ghat & Yamuna ji pujan, Shri Dwarakadhish Temple, Birla Mandir, Kanch Madir, Kesva Deo Temple, Gita Mandir, Nidhi Van Mandir, Banke Bihari Mandir, Shri Rangaji Mandir.

Back to hotel by 20.00 hrs, Dinner and retire for the day

Day 2- Friday 19 Aug'22

Good morning by 7.00 hrs freshen up & B'fast by 8.30 hrs
Move to Vrindavan, the place where Lord Krishna spent most of his childhood.
Evening 10 pm onwards celebrate the Janmastami in Shri Dwarakadhish Temple (Celebration lasts till morning)

Highlight- Prem Mandir, Gopinath Temple, Shri Radha Vallabh Mandir, Radha Ramana Temple, Shri Krishna Balram Mandir (ISKCON), Govardhan Parbat, Witness Janmashtami celebration (00.00 hrs) at Dwarakadhish temple. Take Darskan and blessings of Lord Krishna.

Day 3- Saturday 20 Aug'22

Good morning at leisure, freshun up & B'fast

Highlight-Visit Dwarakadhish temple for Nandostav celebration

Day 4- Sunday 21 Aug'22

Return journey to Mumbai / Hometown

Board GOLDEN TEMPLE M (12904) at 5.50 hr and reach Mumbai by 23.45 hr

Note:- The above plan is based on an “Ideal” scenario where everything goes per plan & considering that there is no breakdown. It is subject to change in Real Time based on ground realities.

Event Cost

Event Cost Rs. 7,500/- (Rs. Seven thousand five hundred only) per person (Ex. Mathura)

Any additional Expenses caused by reason beyond our control such as Natural Calamities (Land Slides, Floods etc.), any accidents, medical evacuations, riots, strikes, evacuation costs, Etc.
Any tips, and any meals apart from the ones mentioned above.
Any service not specifically mentioned in the Includes sections.

Insurance:

All travelers are advised to purchase travel insurance that provide care and services for sickness, Accidents, emergency rescue, ted. Related to international travel.

If a tour is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rains, earthquake, landslides, strike/bandh etc.), Nisarga Bhraman will not be responsible and will not give any refund.

Drop out during event: If for some reason anyone has to drop out from the event on any day then Nisarga Bhraman, will make necessary arrangements for his/her return up to base camp. The stay cost at has to be borne by the participant.

Rules & Regulations

Consumption of alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics is strictly banned on the event & should lead to expulsion from the trek
The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No arguments will be entertained
Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety and baggage
Please do not wear any jewelry or gold chains/rings
Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “Wherever you go, leave only your footprints and take back only memories.”
