Event Details
Kashmir Tulip festival, One of its kind in India celebrates the blooming season of the magnificent Tulips.
Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden adds to the natural beauty of Srinagar. Nestled on the foothills of Zabarwan Range, the largest tulip garden in Asia presents a stunning view of the Dal Lake. The seven terraced garden was built with the intention to promote tourism and floriculture in Kashmir. The prime location of the Tulip Garden makes it the most visiting place in Srinagar. This park is surrounded by scenic hills, attractive gardens of Mughal era and most importantly, it overlooks the awe-inspiring Dal Lake.

Once known as the Model Floriculture Center, Tulip Garden of Srinagar is a home to varied species of flowers like Daffodils, Hyacinths and Ranunculus. However, Tulips cover the major area of the space. A walk through these sweet smelling flower beds will make you stay here for longer.

Itinerary
Day 01- Friday 10th April'20  (Srinagar Stay: Houseboat)
  • Arrival in Srinagar and check in Houseboat. 
Evening enjoy Shikara ride in Dal lake, visit floating market and floating post office.

Day 02- Saturday 11th April'20 (Srinagar Stay: Houseboat)
  • Enjoy sunrise from Dal lake and post B'fast leave for Srinagar sightseeing..
Visit Tulip Garden, here you can see 60 varieties of multi-colored Tulips. This blooming festival is real treat to the eyes. After Tulip visit to Pari mahal also known as The Palace of Fairies, is a seven-terraced garden located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range, overlooking the city of Srinagar. Visit Shankaracharya Temple Or Jyeshteshwara Temple which is on top of the Shankaracharya Hill on the Zabarwan mountain Range in Srinagar. Visit the world famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) Chashmashahi and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). Visit Nagin lake.
Evening free for roaming & shopping in Srinagar market.

Day 03 Sunday 12 April'20 (Gulmarg Stay: Hotel)
  • Post B'fast drive to Gulmarg
Gulmarg– The Meadow of Flowers, is popularly known as paradise on earth. Besides the bounteous natural euphoria, the hill town is replete with fun activities for everyone from toddlers to adults. Major attraction here is the Gondola ride which takes you up to Aparwath peak (altitude of approx. 4,200 meters). One can enjoy the skiing. Visit to Khilanmarg, Maharani temple, St. Mary church, Ningli Nalla, Seven Springs etc.

Day 4 Monday 13 April'20 

Today your pictures  journey concludes. Transfer to the airport and fly back   for your onward journey with memories of A Lifetime Trip.

  • Consumption of alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics is strictly banned on the event & should lead to expulsion from the Trek/ Tour
