The unforgettable high moderate Himalyan adventure Hampta Pass Trek is based in the region of beautiful Himanchal (Manali) at an altitude of 14100 ft. high. Hampta pass trekking can be done in any season, but the best time to go for trek is in the month of July and August. Hampta Pass trekking gives an amazing experience of exploring your life with special hues of nature. One gets an incredible view of rock faces, frosty valleys, thick pine forest, open meadows, adrenaline pumping waterway and pleasant as well as adventurous crossing areas.

Hampta pass connects two beautiful valleys named; Kullu and Lahaul, were one get various Landscapes. Colorful Himalayan birds, species and flowers attract the viewers by their beauty. The scenic landscape, frequent change in weather and atmosphere delights the trekkers and gives a good option of clicking pictures. Climbing on the snow stretch and finding peace with nature with the surroundings of Himalaya is vast.

Day 1 (24 Jun): Report at Manali- Reporting Time: 06.00 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Day 02 (25 Jun): Manali to Chika (Trek starts today)

Chika is situated 10,250 feet about the sea level. Visit hot spring and Vashisht temple on the way.
Enjoy beautiful trail through few villages and after crossing Aleo-nallah, you will reach beautiful meadow with a flat terrain, and after that our destination for the day -Chikka.

Day 03 (26 Jun): Chika to Baluka Ghera

Bhaluka Ghera, is famous for brown bears and hence the name of this place stands on them. During winters, all the brown bears come over here and hibernate. Throughout the trail many different varieties of flowers can be seen.

Day 04 (27 Jun): Baluka Gera to Siagoru, Cross Hampta Pass (14 km trek)

Trekking through Hampta pass just drives you crazy as it is one of the most fabulous experiences you can have. It is a perfect location to capture scenic beauty. Crossing Hampta pass will be a little tiresome as the route is steep and altitude is moderate. As you complete the climb, it will follow a huge descent which will lead us to our camp @ Siagoru situated 13,000 feet above the sea level.

Day 05 (28 Jun): Siagoru to Chatru. Drive to Chandratal.

Today’s 1st half of the trek will be very easy as it will be full descend and the rest of the trek will be very tiring as we traverse very steep altitude. After descending you will see the large valley of river Chandra. Chandra River is at 11000 feet above the sea level and is located on the highway of Manali and Kaza. On one side of the river you can view the mountains full of snow and the other side you will view barren mountains. Chandratal is a moon shaped lake which has crystal clear water. The sight from the mountains of Chandra Tal is an awesome experience

Day 06 (29 Jun): Chandratal to Manali

The return journey of the trek begins today. We will be heading back to Manali by car.

Day 7 (30 Jun): Manali

  • Leisure Good morning

  • Feedback Session and Vote of Thanks (Trek ends here)
  • Drop to Manali

The above plan is based on an “Ideal” scenario where everything goes per plan & considering that there is no breakdown. It is subject to change in Real Time based on ground realities.

Cost Includes:

  • Pickup & Drop from Manali bus stand to hotel
  • Surface Transfers during the trek
  • Hotel/ Homestay accommodation in Manali and Tented accommodation during Trek along with Sleeping bag and mattresses.
  • All meals during the trek and would be simple, nourishing & vegetarian.
  • Services of Experienced guide and cook during trek

Cost Excludes:

  • Travel till Manali and back
  • Personal / Accident insurance.
  • Bottled water, Cold drinks, Room services, Laundry service at the hotel
  • Additional costs for Hotel accommodation, transport services caused by reason beyond our control such as Natural Calamities, any accidents, medical evacuations, riots, strikes etc.
  • Expenses for evacuation and rescue operations due to natural calamity, mishaps, injury or any health problem.
  • Any other tax or service charge, stay charge that could be enforced during this period will be Extra and need to be borne by participants.
  • Any other items which is specifically not mentioned in the above INCLUSIONS.

shall not be responsible for the loss of personal assets and belongings of the participants due to
unavoidable reason or mishap.

Cancellation policy-

  • Cancellations prior to 90 days from the start of the trek — full refund
  • Cancellation between 89 days and 40 days to the start of the trek — 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 39 days to the start of the trek — no refund.

Note: If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rains, earthquake, landslides, strike/bandh etc.), Nisarga Bhraman will not be responsible and will not give any refund.

Drop out during trek: If for some reason a participant has to drop out from the trek on any day then Nisarga Bhraman, will make arrangements for his/her return upto Manali. A staff will accompany the participant to the Manali.  Manali transportation and stay cost at any location including Manali has to be borne by the participant.


Rules & Regulations-
  • Consumption of alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics is strictly banned on the event & should lead to expulsion from the trek
  • The leader’s decision will be final and binding on all members. No arguments will be entertained
  • Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety and baggage
  • Avoid medication such as sleeping tablets, sedatives, strong painkillers, and anti-histamines
    Which depress the respiration and increase the risk of AMS- (Acute Mountain Sickness) especially while sleeping
  • Please do not wear any jewellery or gold chains/rings
  • Please do not litter, we believe in the saying, “Wherever you go, leave only your footprints and take back only memories.”


Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution and care. The organization will not be responsible for any injury / accident / death to the participant while on trek.

Medical Disclaimer:

It is Important to be physically fit while on treks. If suffering from any allergy or ailment, please bring prescribed medicines to prevent serious health problem including heatstroke, severe headache, cough, dehydration and hypothermia. Participants suffering from chronic conditions like asthma bronchitis, blood pressure, migraine, diabetes etc. should take permission from their physicians before treks.
